Savouring memories in a creative way & becoming inspired as we wander the streets of a new city is one of the reasons we travel in the first place. New experiences, new memories & new surroundings are what keeps life exciting! But if you are anything like us, you like to have a bit of a plan in advance to make the most of your travels and ensure you don’t come home realising you missed out on photo opportunities…

When it comes to getting photos in the city of Nashville, we have got your back & handled the planning side of things for you!

To help you get your photo re-creation juices flowin’ we have put together; the ultimate guide for the best photo locations in Nashville, complete with interactive Google maps to ensure you definitely know where to go! Save it to your resources for your next visit!

If you haven’t been to Nashville, we hope to inspire you to visit this epic city, filled to the brim’ with artistic vibes, boutiques, DELISH eateries and galleries.

Grab a bevvie & lets get into it!

12 SOUTH

This particular neighborhood is the definition of unique & in our opinion, the ‘Rainey St’ of Tennessee. Except instead of bars, the old houses are converted into vintage stores, cronut bakeries, cafe’s and classy boutiques.

PRO TIP – Keep your eyes peeled on the side of buildings and down hidden streets for murals here!

The first stop in 12 South is this famous pastel beauty in all its stripey glory –  Draper James. A ‘southern girl’ boutique owned by Reese Witherspoon.

The classic ‘I Believe in Nashville’ Mural is located just a couple minutes walk from Draper James and an absolute must see to highlight your trip to Nashville!

Savant is a beautiful reflection of the local, creative biz owners of 12 South. This cottage turned vintage store is so much fun and super photogenic!

Five daughters is a cute family owned business selling the most AMAZING cronuts on the planet (a cronut is a beautiful blend of croissant & doughnut) They have their own mural & the entire store is completely instagrammable!

Moda Boutique is located just a short stroll from Five Daughters & a hub for designer clothing & jewelry. We caught them over xmas and fell in love with their decor!

We might be biased, given that we absolutely adore country music – but if there’s one mural to sum up Nashville – this would be it! The tunes, the people & the art.. all so incredible!

Downtown Nashville & Surrounds/Broadway

If there’s one thing the people of Downtown Nashville are all over – it’s their ability to turn 10 am on a Monday morning into a friday afternoon vibe.

Live music, friendly people & delicious food are just a few of the reasons to visit this area of town, but make sure you check out these photo spots to capture some memories!
